I & Innovations

I've been passionate about Innovations (can't remember when though) .
One of the cool books I liked reading on Innovations is "Ten faces of Innovations"(TFI) by Tom. It not only triggers the innovative ideas - ideation process but also wraps with management musings.

BTW, I also directed a management doc movie inspired by this TFI book. I'll send you the link of my site hosting that movie ASAP.

cheers,
Saran

EA is my cup of TEA :)

I recently (re)embarked in an EAie., Enterprise Architecture initiative in my current org. Though I'll not be able to share the artifacts, background etc., for legal purposes . I'll provide the gist of it with appropriate truncation/filtering of the data. I'll be generalizing to the max and would request you to knowledge-share your experiences.

Enterprise Architect(EA) tool from SparxSystems which I've been championing for quite a long time is a good candidate for my EA activities. EA tool provides plug-in for both TOGAF & Zachchman Enterprise Architecture frameworks(each priced separately $199) . I'd prefer a hybridized frmwrks as there're good pros & bad cons in both frmwrks.

to iPhone or not

iPhone 3.0 OS enticed me a lot due to its limelight features(incl., spotlight, server push et al). Its SQLite local db enhanced persistence capabilities will definitely fly.

That said, we definitely need to behave as good citizens while coding for native iPhone app w.r.to security, memory mgmnt(alloc, dealloc) and usability. Let's crank up our blog on the iPhone 3.0.. More later...
